Located adjacent to Da Silvano on Sixth Avenue, Bar Pitti resides in a prime location for a fun-filled celebrity-clad people-watching experience. You never know who you'll see tramping into and out of Da Silvano. Sometimes it's Kate Hudson or SJP. Other times it's Gweneth Paltrow. And always... it's someone. The outdoor seating is the optimal section in the house. With easy viewing and an outdoor heat lamp for when it gets chilly, the street seats are so popular that the trendy and fashionable patrons say they'll wait, even if there is a table available inside. But don't think that Bar Pitti doesn't have its own celebrity following. Glance, don't stare, at the Heidi Klum and Seal clan taking in a delicious Tuscan meal. Peruse the scrumptious, mouth-watering dishes on the menu such as buffalo and peppers, rigatoni pitti and spinach saltini and listen to the parmesan and grater carrying waiter rattle off the delicious specials such as spaghetti suga. However, don't make any decisions until you have checked out the chalkboard, which lists and describes the best of what the kitchen is offering. Chalkboard choices are definitely a Travelingals kind of order. If you're the sort to appreciate an incredible Italian pasta dish, do not go home with out trying the mind-blowing truffle pasta (on the regular menu). Get it for desert, or for anything...
