Nowadays, Moschino, Missoni, Versace, Miss. Sixty, Christian Lacroix, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and Armani have tons in common (and, I’m not alluding to their runway collections). These designers and more have created exclusive bona fide fashion/hospitality hybrids of their own!

Hence, designer duds are not the only must-haves these days; it’s the designer hotel experience that all the trendy TravelinGals crave. You may have to splurge, but it’s not like you haven’t splurged on designer duds before, so why feel so guilty? At these luxury brand hotels, you can actually glam it up and vacation ‘Donatella-style.’

From the whimsical styles of LaCroix, to the swanky designs of Versace, you’re probably wondering how the spirit of fashion translates into the hotel experience. Well, it’s not only the dazzling rooms and chic décor but also the fashionable jet-set crowd who journey there that make these designer boutique hotels a triumphant success. The resorts effectively mirror the designers’ style as well as their clientele. So, if you want to be amongst the center of the Vogue universe, it’s pretty simple; just fashionably flock to Europe, Australia, or Hawaii, and we’ll guide you to whichever cutting-edge, designer getaway is a high-heel shoe step away.

Palazzo Versace is an exquisite over-the-top escape in one of Australia's greatest destinations, the Gold Coast. Overlooking the stunning Broadwater of Aussie’s Gold Coast, the hotel is just north of Surfer’s Paradise (i.e. heaven) and right next to the Marina Mirage Shopping Center. Its glitzy trademark Versace design is just as captivating as its location, making the Palazzo Versace Hotel Gold Coast the perfect place to relax in the most opulent style.

The Palazzo Versace is a five-story hotel, featuring 205 rooms, 72 neighboring condos, 3 award-winning restaurants and an exclusive marina. The hotel is completely and utterly Versace; every single piece of cutlery and china is even Versace, and framed photos of Gianni and Donatella’s personal collection line all the corridors of the hotel.

As you can imagine, this Palazzo will definitely cost you a pretty penny- it’s a hotspot for the rich and famous (Bono and his band resided here during their Australia tour). And as rumor has it, Palazzo Versace is building a mega resort in Dubai, opening in the end of 2008.

P.S. The entire Versace Hotel lifestyle—linens, rugs, cutlery, toiletries…the works, are available for purchase at the on-premise Versace boutique.

Sixty Hotel
Via Milano 54, Riccione, Italy +39-0541-697851

Don’t you just live in your stylish Miss Sixty jeans? Well now you can do some living in your own stylish Miss Sixty designer suite. The new Miss Sixty Hotel in Northern Italy’s Ariatic Coast is a hipster haven, offering 39 designer rooms filled with art and elegance.

Each room is a distinctive masterpiece, designed and decorated by one of 30 young up-and-coming artists from around the globe. Each chosen artist played a major role in the creation of this groovy 70’s-inspired one-of-a-kind boutique hotel. They designed the walls on canvas, interpreting the hotel’s space with their personal art (and, in some cases, with graffiti), making each room colorfully unique.

What's more, the rooms promote playful voyeuristic relations by supplying each guest individual web cameras, so if they wish, they can interactively “get to know each other” in any and everyway possible, be it platonic or even kinky.

With a brilliant white façade that can be altered daily using projected color lighting, the Sixty Hotel’s exterior is just as original as the interior. Even more, the Hotel has been so successful; they’re planning to open six more locations in cities like Barcelona, Dubai and Los Angeles over the next three years.
